{Q:} How far in advance should I book my session?

{A:} I recommend that women have their shoot date scheduled for about 2 months prior to needing their finished product in-hand. Since I am but only one woman and do all my own shooting and editing, I tend to book up very quickly and relatively far in advance. For weekend availability, you should email me to schedule at least a month in advance, if not sooner.  Sundays tend to be the most popular day so there for book up the quickest (available only for theMystic package). All shoots take place on Friday so spots are limited. With that being said, DON'T WAIT to email me! It's never to early to get on my schedule. Your photo reveal appointment will be approximately 2-3 weeks after your photo session, and your finished product (depending on what you order) will arrive between 2 and 4 weeks after that. JOIN THE WAITLIST

{Q:} The women on your website all look like models. "And well I'm not a model, can I really do this?"

{A:} Well for one YOU CAN DO THIS! You know why? Because NONE of these ladies are models. Nope not one bit. So when you say that, I take it as a HUGE compliment. This means I'm doing my job right. The women on my site all thought the same thing as you, and think if these women can do it, so can you.  I don't toot my horn often, but I am VERY good at what I do.. I know women. I've studied the female form. And I continue my education every year. So I know women SO well, that I know what they aren't going to like in photos. My education has included learning how to pose all body types. So don't even start with well I'm not a size 0, whether you are a size 0 or a size 16+ I will know how to work with you. Best part is you don't have to know what you are doing in the slightest. I will direct you every step of the way, from helping you prepare for your boudoir shoot with wardrobe and grooming tips, to posing every inch of you, to coaching your breathing through the session. I will literally show you how to "pose" every inch from your face to your toes. All you have to do is show up, TRUST ME, and have fun.

{Q:} What do your packages include? How much should I expect to spend?

{A:} Your boudoir experience session fee is $500 +tax. That includes the photo shoot, professional hair and makeup, retouching of your images, and an in-person photo reveal and ordering session, for you to order photo products a la carte. After all is said and done, clients tend to spend about $1500 (on average) for their session and the photo products they desire. Clients are almost always SHOCKED by how many photos they cannot live without from their session. Yep, we're *THAT* good here!

Even if you are unsure what you want your finished product to be, it is recommended to book the Entice package which includes an album or album upgrade at a deeply reduced booking rate that may also be applied to any products you'd like to purchase.

Our packages are thoughtfully built based on our clients most frequent purchases. Be sure to email hello@tiffanymariestudios.com to get a full list of our package and a la carte pricing.

{Q:} Where will my boudoir session take place? Do you have a studio?

{A:} Tiffany Marie Studios has a beautiful, natural lit, studio) located in the town of Batesburg-Leesville. It was stone brick walls, high accented ceilings, very european rustic feel, minimal furniture, no clutter, and OOZES with beautiful natural light.  On-location photo shoots are welcomed up on request!  On-location shooting is available for a small additional fee, so just ask if you feel this option is for you.

{Q:} I’ve noticed your work is primarily black and white. Do you still shoot in color?

{A:} Over the last few years I have really focused on perfecting my black and white edits as black and white is where my passions lie. However, yes I do still shoot in color. While during your viewing session you will see all of your images in black and white, color edits are available upon request. So if you aren’t quite sure you’d like to commit to a modern art monochrome album, no worries, I’ve got you covered. Though MOST clients find they absolutely LOOOOVE the monochrome synchrony.

{Q:} I'm not sure I'm comfortable with being photographed almost nude, but I REAALLY want to have a session with you. Whats my options here?

{A:} Well I specialize in photographing WOMEN, no matter your level of clothing. Women who shy away from being photographed nude, in lingerie, etc, might be more comfortable doing a studio beauty portrait session with an off-shoulder blouse and jeans...that's totally fine! My point is, you don't have to take off your clothes to be sexy

{Q:}  The images on your website are very tasteful and pretty, but what if I wanted to get a little more...eh um...risque?

{A:} First off, Get it, girl! I welcome the more risque photos! I tend to choose to only showcase the most tasteful and reserved images on my website for the privacy of my clients...but I also capture images that are more provocative. But let me just say, I am NOT a Penthouse-type photographer, I DON'T shoot porn; so if you are looking for crotch shots and over-the-top suggestive images, I'm likely not the photographer to capture that for you.  A beautiful black and white image of a nude woman can be classy and tasteful, a woman lying spread eagle on a bed with a rubber ball in her mouth is not what I do. Not even a little bit. ;) No judgement, though. Get it, girrrll!

{Q:} What should I wear?

{A:} This is probably the most popular question I get….and the answer is simple…whatever you feel sexy and good in! Most clients opt for some form of lingerie. A bra and panty set,  a kimono , stockings, a t-shirt and underwear, or nothing at all–whatever you opt for, it will turn out fabulous! In a 1 hour photo session, you will typically have time for up to 2 “looks” or outfits! Don't stress too much about wardrobe. I could spend an entire hour shooting a client with no other wardrobe than the bed sheets and completely rock it out. Once you've completed the booking process with me, you will also receive a detailed shoot guide that will help you with preparations and wardrobe considerations!

{Q:} Can I have someone with me at my session?

{A:} Sometimes your best friend is exactly what you need to calm your nerves and give you the reassurance you need to get started with your session! And who doesn't like a little girl time with their bestie celebrating your courage. Your friend is MORE than welcome to accompany you! However, I DO ask that the friend not interfere with the shoot (running in to “touch you up” in between every shot, directing your posing, etc) as I will handle anything along those lines that needs done.  I do not allow any more than 1 friend in the room with you. Also, it is a requirement of mine that boyfriends/husbands/spouses NOT be in the room while we are shooting. That’s a firm policy.  Want to do one better than having a friend there for moral support??? Why don't you book your shoots back to back so you can BOTH enjoy the experience together?!

{Q:} On which days of the week can I have my photo session?

{A:} We accept shoots on Fridays. Select Sunday time slots are available with our top package, and are booked out 3-5 months in advance.

{Q:} What should I do to prepare?

{A:} The beauty of being a TMS client is, all of these questions are answered in COMPLETE detail for you in the Tiffany Marie Studios Guide which is emailed to you shortly after booking your session. This will cover exactly how you should prepare your face, body, and mind for your photo shoot, as well as a complete list of resources for beauty appointments and wardrobe for your photo shoot! No question will remain unanswered.  I pride myself on offering a boudoir EXPERIENCE to my clients...so expect a much longer process than just showing up to shoot and not know what's happening.

{Q:} How much can you “edit out”?

{A:} This is a bit of a touchy subject, but I stick to my instincts on this one. I "Photoshop" very little. My goal is to rely on my strategic poses and angles to play down your "problem" areas.  I WILL edit out minor blemishes/skin flaws as well as simple things like under-eye circles and small scars (IF you request the scar-removal). My main rule of thumb is, if it’s permanent, it stays. Tattoos included.  As far as stretch marks go, most women have them—and most of the time, my skin-smoothing editing technique will buff out most average stretch marks. If you would like to request extensive editing, we can quote that on a per-image basis at your photo reveal appointment after you've seen your images with our standard retouch on them.  Bottom line–I will work with what you’ve got and prove to you that you ARE BEAUTIFUL and these will be the best set of photos you have of yourself!  My post-processing techniques are more focused on color, contrast, sharpening, etc, rather than body morphing.

{Q:} These photos are intended as a gift for my significant other…what photo products make the best gift?

{A:} ALBUMS and WALL ART. Albums are the obvious choice for displaying a good number of images on your coffee table or night stand (or tucked inside the night stand if you're wanting to keep them hidden). In addition to that, most clients find themselves with at least one big statement piece of wall art for their master bedroom, master bathroom, master walk in closet, orrrr if you're really bold: THE LIVING ROOM (gasp) Hand in hand, the album and wall art collection is the best of both worlds and when booking the Entice collection not only do you get an album or album upgrade but you also get a generous credit towards any wall art!

{Q:} I am a school teacher/pastor's wife, ect.  and if these photos were leaked it would destroy my reputation...is this secret safe with you???

{A:} First of all, I doubt that anyone seeing your photos would result in anything other than "DAAMMMMN GIRL, YOU LOOK AMAZING!". My boudoir style, if you haven't noticed, is VERY classic, beautiful, and more about the empowerment of woman than oversexed softcore. HOWEVER, I can TOTALLY understand if you don't want your images shared with the public! Especially that saucy one, you know...the one that took you the entire shoot to build up the courage to take!  You can rest absolutely assured that your images will never be shared without your permission. As soon as your session is complete, we retouch your images in-house. We do NOT send your images off to an outsourced editing company leaving them vulnerable to being stolen. THEN, you will see them directly during your in-person photo viewing!! SO to sum it up, NO ONE and I mean NO ONE will see this with out your explicit permission.

In the event that you are super awesome and proud of your images and do permit me to use them on my blog and website, your real name will NEVER be used and I will NEVER tag you on Facebook/Twitter/Instagram or any other social media platform.

{Q:} Do you photograph men?

{A:} Not in the boudoir capacity, no.  I know what I'm good at, and posing men is just not my background or specialty. I'm always happy to offer referrals to other photographers, though! I will also make an exception for my husband (If he could ever take a photo shoot serious enough, eh um CHRIS!) oh and Jensen Ackles.

{Q:} Will you use my images on your website/blog/portfolio?

{A:} I, of course, would LOVE to use images from our session together to show other women your amazing photos!  HOWEVER, I also completely understand if you or your significant other might be uncomfortable to share them. That said, I will not share unless you grant permission. The bottom line is: I will honor whatever level of privacy you would like. Many clients are so proud of their images that they give me full discretion to choose images for my portfolio, some clients prefer that only their faceless images be put in my gallery, some clients prefer to choose the images that are posted, and other clients are comfortable with anything being posted, as long as it’s after a certain date (after they gift the images).  Just let me know where you stand on the topic and I will honor your wishes!

If you have ANY other questions that I did not address, please ask here and I will get back to you ASAP!
